Bark Barbecue at Time Out Market Rooftop is an absolute must-visit for anyone who loves authentic, flavorful barbecue. The restaurant is incredibly popular, so be prepared to wait around 30 minutes, but the wait is more than worth it. I tried a variety of dishes including spare ribs, sausage, brisket, pulled pork, chicharrón pork, chicken, and coleslaw. Every single item was outstanding. The spare ribs were tender, juicy, and perfectly smoked, while the sausage had a robust, savory flavor. The brisket melted in my mouth, and the pulled pork was rich and flavorful. Chicharrón pork was crispy and delicious, and the chicken was succulent. The coleslaw was fresh and crunchy, providing the perfect balance to the richness of the meats. Portions were generous, flavors bold, and every bite kept me coming back for more. The rooftop setting adds a lively and enjoyable atmosphere, making it a perfect spot to relax, enjoy the view, and savor the food. Whether you’re a local or visiting Time Out Market for the first time, Bark Barbecue is a must-try destination. Highly recommended!

Located on the rooftop of the Timeout marketplace. Beef ribs are only available during the weekends. One of the best we have had. The chicharon is also really good and 2nd only to the beef ribs. Pork ribs are decent but a little tough. Brisket isn’t as tender as other BBQ restaurant but it’s alright. Come early if not the queue can get quite long.

Such an amazing and unique place, fully recommend the experience. The brisket and bbq pork ribs were delicious and very juicy, what an explosion of flavour! They have a small outdoor seating area that if you are lucky and get a spot, you have wonderful views to the Brooklyn and Manhattan bridges.

After watching a YT review we made the trip over from midtown just to try the BQQ at Bark and it was worth the trip! We ordered a couple of different sandwich’s including the pulled pork, the brisket and the beef rib plus the smoked plantains and the coleslaw. This was not a cheap meal with the beef rib at 1.5lbs coming in at $50 on its own but it was all excellent and I would rush back. The beef rib was the star of the show and one of the best things I had during our 6 days NYC trip!

Steak lover will have a new favorite spot. Ribs very juicy, brisket well done. Most things in the menu is so delicious. Absolutely recommended. ☑️☑️ The line in Fridays is longer due to the high demand. There are other places to eat, but Bark Barbecue is the first option for people so far.
